Alexa French DDS
I was born and raised in Paducah, KY where my passion for dentistry started at a young age. Growing up, I spent a lot of time in my father’s dental practice where I learned about the artistry of dentistry and realized the joy I could bring to people by helping them achieve the smile they have always deserved. I graduated as valedictorian of my high school before attending college at Miami University in Ohio. After college, I followed in my father’s footsteps to attend the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Along with my DMD, I received the Pierre Fauchard Award my senior year for outstanding academic achievement and dedicated service to the profession. After graduation, I went on to complete a General Practice Residency at the University of Kentucky to gain more experience with implant dentistry, sedation dentistry, and treating medically compromised patients.
I have practiced dentistry for the past five years in Louisville, KY before relocating to Chicago with my husband, Tom (Kathy French’s son). In July, I joined Hamilton Lakes Dentistry alongside Kathy French and Kate Conti. Along with Dr. French and Dr. Conti, I hold very similar values in furthering my skills and knowledge through continuing education to provide the best quality of care for my patients. I also enjoy volunteering my time for different local and global dental volunteer organizations.
In Kentucky, I was involved in the following organizations: American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, Louisville Dental Society, Women in Dentistry Study Club, and a Spear Study Club through Kelley Dental Lab.
When not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our fur baby, Dallas, reading, traveling, anything fitness related, and watching college sports.
